I graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Speech and a postgraduate degree from Harvard University’s Institute for Advanced Theater Training.  While at Harvard, I was a teaching fellow for Harvard University undergraduates in English literature for Professor Robert Brustein and David Mamet.  While at Harvard, I received the Krupp scholarship for exceptional students at the institute.  During his undergraduate years, I was a winner of the Agnes Nixon Playwriting awards at Northwestern.  I am a success oriented educator specializing in all levels of ESL, TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge test preparation.  Some of my former students have been accepted to renowned colleges and academic programs including UC Berkeley Law, UCLA School of Dentistry, the University of Southern California, Whittier Law School, the University of Miami School of Law, the American Film Institute, and California State University Northridge M.S. in Taxation.  I am adroit at developing student-focused teaching strategies, and creating teaching materials including unique study guides for ESL and TOEFL.  I am proficient in motivating and guiding students to achieve their academic goals and successful learning outcomes.  I have taught Cambridge University FCE and Advanced seminars and has been a Cambridge University adjudicator and assessor.  I have had a professional membership from the TESOL International Association.  With numerous years of experience teaching students at diverse colleges and language institutions, I have taught all levels of ESL, TOEFL IBT, TOEIC, ILETS, GRE English, GMAT test preparation, TESOL training, Cambridge FCE and Advanced seminars, SAT Reading and Writing test preparation, ACT English, Reading, and Writing test preparation, AP English and AP US History tutoring.  In addition, I am the recipient of international awards for his writing.  My play, Weller, was developed at the prestigious Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights Conference and his first novel, The Magus World, beat out thousands of manuscripts from around the world including Canada, Australia, Ireland, South Korea, France, England, South Africa and the United States to win the 2017 Launchpad Tracking Board Manuscript Competition.  The novel also won the Mike De Luca production award from the Hollywood producer and will be turned into several feature films.  The Magus World will be published in 2019.  My screenplays and television pilots have been quarter finalists for the Final Draft Big Break competitions, the second round of The Sundance Episodic Television Story Lab, won two awards at the London Film Awards, won awards at the Cannes screenplay competition, the Hollywood screenplay competition, the New York screenplay competition, the Launchpad Tracking Board TV pilot competition, and several awards at the Fresh Voices competition.  My plays have been performed and work shopped in Boston, New York, Chicago, Louisville, and London.
